Scoring & Awards

At The King’s Cup, glory is earned through consistency, cunning, and clutch play under pressure. Every shot, every putt, and every sand save can shape the final standings.

Overall Scoring

Each player’s team scores from Rounds 1 & 2 and their individual score from Round 3 will be combined to determine the final total.

The lowest cumulative score after all three rounds is crowned the King’s Cup Champion — earning eternal bragging rights (and possibly a sore liver).

In the event of a tie, a sudden-death playoff will decide the winner. If daylight — or sobriety — has run out, the playoff can be settled by putt-off or a flip of the royal coin, as agreed by the group.

Handicaps

Handicaps will be figured using each players  Round 2 score for their Round 3 Handicap.

(Score - Course Rating) x average slope / course slope

Example: (85−72.0)×113/130=11.3

Round 2 scores cannot exceed double Par.

Par 3 max: 6

Par 4 max 8

Par 5 max 10
