Rules & Game play The King’s Cup Golf Tournament is a 3-day battle of skill, strategy, and endurance — fought over 54 holes of glory. Only the truest Kings will rise to the top. Round 1: The Opening Scramble (Friday, August 14th, 2026 – Mid-Afternoon) Format: 2-Man Scramble
Team Selection: To ensure fair and balanced play, teams will be formed by pairing a higher-skilled golfer with a lower-skilled golfer. This royal matchmaking ensures that every kingdom stands a fighting chance at victory.
Both players tee off, select the best shot, and both play from that spot until the hole is completed.
Each player must contribute at least 8 drives throughout the round.
The team shares a single score, which carries forward to the overall leaderboard.
Communication, teamwork, and a bit of luck will determine which duo claims the early lead. Round 2: The King’s Best Ball (Saturday, Mid-Morning) Format: Best Ball, Stroke Play
Teams of two again, but this time each King plays his own ball.
The better score between the two players on each hole counts toward the team total.
Play smart. Play steady. Don’t be the weak link. Round 3: The Final Showdown (Sunday, Mid-Morning) Format: Individual Stroke Play (Handicapped)
Each player battles for personal glory — every stroke counts.
Handicaps are based off of their Round 2 score, but all handicaps must be agreed upon by all players before tee-off.
This round decides the ultimate champion of The King’s Cup. Side Games & ChallengesSkins Game Skins will be played on rounds 2 and 3. $1 per hole — $18 per round per Player. Total Skins buy in is $36. The lowest score on each hole wins the skin. Ties carry the pot forward until the next hole is won outright. Big risks, big rewards. True Kings play for pride and pocket change. Closest to the Pin (The Golf Sniper) All Par 3s are in play. The first group out will hold and place the Par 3 markers. If group one does not land on the green they leave the flag for group 2 just off the green. Group 2 picks up the marker. The player who lands closest to the pin most often across all rounds earns the prestigious title of “Golf Sniper.” Accuracy is power. Aim true, noble Kings.
